On August 22- 24, the College of Computer Information and Communication Technology under the leadership of its chairman, Mrs. Josefina Pangan, sponsored this year’s Intramurals. With the theme, “sports make one fully alive”, the three-day activity featured among others a parade around the school vicinity, Search for Mr. and Ms. Intrams 2013, cheer dance competition, and of course the different sports indoor and outdoor games. Also highlighted were the ‘larong pinoy’ which made the intrams not only for those who are sports enthusiasts but for all MDCians.
Mr. Carl Mari Quider and Ms. Dijelyn Garcia bagged the title Mr. and Ms. Intrams 2013 respectively. The College of Education won the first place in the cheer dance competition, while the College of Arts and Sciences and the College of Business and Accountancy (Hospitality Department) ended up as the second and third placers. The MDC Laboratory High School’s bet for Mr. and Ms. Intrams, Ms. Teovy Bongcales was awarded Best in Production Number. This made the eight graders who joined for the first time as one of the contenders for this year’s intrams, really happy.
Other highlights of Intrams 2013 were the invitational basketball games between MDC Faculty vs. Calape Policemen and the MDC Seagulls against the HNU Falcons. The activity ended with the College of Arts and Sciences as the over-all champion. The College of Business and Accountancy and College of Education ranked second and third places respectively.
