March 2, 2018 – Several third year students coming from the College of Computer, Information, and Communications Technology attended the 10th Bohol ICT Student Congress held at the new covered court of Holy Name University.
The event which started at 8:30 in the morning, featured some student project presentations, sharing of expertise and experiences and discussions about Information Technology. Student projects coming from the students of Holy Name University, STI Colleges Tagbilaran, University of Bohol, and Bohol Island State University – Bilar campus were presented and deliberated during the event.
The congress was capped with the presentation of the current efforts put forth by the local government of Bohol for the ICT Industry and a sharing of expertise from an industry practitioner Mr. Thomas Live Ridenour.
The Bohol ICT student Congress is an annual event hosted by the member schools of the Philippines Society of Information Technology Educators – Region 7. This year’s Bohol ICT Student Congress was hosted by Holy Name University and sponsored by Globe Telecom.
